Artist Statement
Born in Russia in 1972, Aleksandr Ibragimov is a London-based painter. He says, “Until the age of 37 I had never even held a brush in my hand! But the moment I started painting, I felt an irresistible craving for self-expression and have never stopped painting since. My style depends entirely on my mood and emotions and I gravitate towards Post- Impressionism, Abstractionism and Symbolism”.
