Artist Statement

The realization of my aspiration to become an artist was made possible through an evening college established at Chitrakala Parishat. Since then, my commitment to my craft has remained steadfast. My artistic endeavors primarily center around capturing the inherent essence of my immediate environment, particularly my hometown, Bengaluru, its street-adorned flora, and its rich history. My goal is to unveil the beauty hidden within the ordinary and seemingly mundane elements that surround me, all while pushing the boundaries of printmaking as a versatile medium. Throughout my undergraduate studies, I have refined my skills, delved into new artistic realms, and had the privilege of receiving guidance from esteemed artists and educators.
